Dear Shani,

Words cannot express the extent of my gratitude for your support of Amnesty’s red teardrop pin campaign.  Your wearing the pin and talking to the press generated tremendous interest from the public.  Immediately, the story and photos hit the internet, bloggers wrote about it and people started emailing and calling Amnesty offices to inquire about two things –  how to obtain the pin and how they can help child soldiers.

We at Amnesty work tirelessly to engage and motivate the public about our human rights work.  On Oscar night, our message about helping children reached millions of people.  

Perhaps the best way to express my gratitude is to simply say, THANK YOU.
